Nominate A Charity

To nominate a local non-profit for consideration at one of our meetings, you must be a current member (i.e., have completed the Membership and Commitment Form and be up-to-date in your quarterly donations). Please complete the Charity Nomination Form below and submit it online.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a registered 501(c)(3) IRS Tax-Free Status nonprofit for a minimum of 24 months
  • Charity must benefit the Penobscot Valley Area
  • Charity must have a history of filing a form 990N, 990EZ, or 990.

If selected, a representative will be available to speak at the following meeting to describe the impact of the donation.
If selected, the charity agrees to allow 100 Neighbors Who Care – Penobscot Valley to publicly acknowledge the receipt of donation.
If selected, the charity agrees NOT to give out donor information to any third parties or add them to lists for future solicitation.
If selected, the charity agrees to provide charitable donation tax receipts to donors if required by current IRS rules
